Beaufort Plein Air Festival Day 2

Hello fellow artists! It’s Day 2 of the event, and what another beautiful day we’ve had, complete with a cool breeze. While seating on the deck of our room this morning, I studied the map to choose our next painting location and decided on the Reed Creek Greenway.Just off the path, I discovered a perfect spot: a view of the creek with an old tree leaning over it, casting dappled light onto the rocks below. I finally put the finishing brush strokes on my painting this afternoon. After packing up, we headed back to rest before dinner. We went to All Day Darling—it was an amazing find and a place I'd highly recommend. On the drive back to the Beaufort House Inn, we took some side roads and saw several fellow artists still hard at work. Tomorrow is the final day of the festival when we turn in our pieces; I can’t wait to see everyone’s artwork!"
