Beaufort Plein Air Festival Day1

Hello artist, my husband and I headed out early this morning for Asheville, NC for the Plein Air festival. It was a pleasant drive as the sun was bright and beautifully cresting over the mountains. When we arrived, I checked my canvas and set out to locate a place to paint. As we drove through the areas on the map I found a location to paint an old two-storey red brick home with a wrap-around porch. While painting, we kept hearing a buzzing sound and, of all things, it was a honey bee swarm and the bees were patiently waiting for the queen to land. It's a wonderful site to witness bees relocating. Well, on with painting, I hope the other fellow artists are enjoying themselves, and I am looking forward to seeing their beautiful artwork.
